Senior Business Development Manager
We are a medium sized company with offices in Europe and USA, with a worldwide sales and distribution network. We operate in the global offshore equipment supply market and sell high-end equipment including our patented series of real time 3D sonars which is a game changer for the subsea market.
Our Edinburgh office is currently seeking a candidate to fulfil the role of Senior Business Development Manager.
The successful candidate must have relevant industry experience (Defense, Oil and Gas, Marine or subsea Construction, Survey Equipment Market) and must be able to demonstrate a track record of finding market opportunities and taking these through the validation phase to successful completion. Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience of forming sales strategy plans and executing these within a sales team environment.
The role involves extensive travel oversea to places such as Japan, China, South Korea, Europe and South Africa.
The successful candidate will be educated to Degree level (our strong preference is for engineering or ocean sciences background) with at least 5 years of professional sales experience with at least 2 of those in subsea products sale.
The ideal candidate will be dynamic individual capable of networking at all levels, able to do good research and market intelligence gathering ability with very good communication skills.
Only candidates that have the prerequisite market sector knowledge and sales experience will be considered for this position.
