We are pleased to announce the launch of the new CMS Smart Switch Technology Block, a compact, integrated interface designed to simplify the deployment of your Echoscope® Real-Time 3D Sonar Configuration during breakwater construction and crane deployment operations.

The CMS Smart Switch Technology Block combines communications and power distribution from the 3D Connect 5G to the Echoscope PIPE®, ISAR rotator unit, F275 Series®  Inertial Navigation Sensor into a single integrated solution. This allows the entire system to operate using a single lightweight tether between the subsea sensor frame and the operator cabin, replacing three or more individual cables.

Designed for demanding shallow-water subsea operations at deployment depths of up to 10 metres, the CMS Smart Switch Technology Block is rated beyond IP68 and is mounted directly on the subsea sensor frame. The unit interfaces with each sensor using short, dedicated cables that are typically located in the highest-wear areas of the system.

To minimise downtime and maintenance costs, these short cables can be quickly replaced on-site if damaged, eliminating the need to replace the main tether. This modular design delivers greater reliability, reduced maintenance costs, and minimised system downtime, helping operators keep projects on schedule while reducing lifecycle costs.

The CMS Smart Switch Technology Block is available now for all breakwater construction and crane deployment configurations. Existing customers with Echoscope PIPE® sonar configurations can upgrade to the CMS Smart Switch Technology Block.
