We are pleased to introduce our OEM Integrators SDK, delivering powerful capabilities that enable real-time autonomous perception using Echoscope PIPE® technology within third-party software applications.
The OEM SDK is available in two cross-platform configurations:
- Live Data SDK – providing seamless access to real-time 3D sonar data for integration into third-party applications.
- Control & Live Data SDK (4G USE® Headless) – a comprehensive embedded solution that provides full sensor control, georeferenced platform positioning integration, project data recording, and intelligent data output capabilities.
Designed specifically for autonomous and robotic underwater systems, these SDK options significantly enhance the capabilities of modern AUVs, ROVs, USVs, and other marine robotic platforms by enabling advanced real-time 3D perception, navigation, and mission execution.
Echoscope® technology delivers industry-leading real-time 3D spatial awareness, providing exceptional resolution, clarity, and volumetric insight in underwater environments. OEM integrators seeking to leverage the unique advantages of Echoscope® technology can now take advantage of our cross-platform SDK options to seamlessly integrate Echoscope data outputs into their own software ecosystems with the lightweight Live Data options, and deeper embedded sensor control with our 4G USE® Headless solution.
The SDK streamlines access to high-resolution live 3D sonar data, enabling a broad range of applications including advanced visualization, real-time volumetric measurement, target detection and tracking, obstacle avoidance, and autonomous navigation. It also provides a powerful data source for perception and decision-making algorithms used in subsea robotics, autonomous systems, and the next generation of AUV platforms.
Available for use with any members of the Echoscope PIPE® range, including our ultra-compact NANO Gen Series sonars, CIVS (Close-In Visualization Sonar) and our latest WAVM (Wide Area Volumetric Mapping) devices, our OEM Integrators SDK options include:
- A plug and play ROS Driver that allows our data stream to be imported directly into the ROS environment with no additional development effort required.
- Sample Code for OEM integrators who do not utilize the ROS environment, illustrating how to parse the data stream for consumption by third party applications.
- 4G USE® PIPE OEM, a multi-purpose test and control application that allows you to connect to your sonar on the bench to confirm successful integration.
The OEM Integrator’s SDK facilitates easy integration with any of the live intelligent outputs offered by our sonars and software solutions, including:
- Live XYZ and intensity point cloud data, already merged with position, attitude and speed of sound data;
- 3D MATT (Multiple Automatic Target Tracking) target tracking output, giving live position or range and bearing to target when using the Echoscope;
- Live Object Detection feed with range and live real time information;
- 3D and 2D image feeds from multiple perspectives, including our innovative, intuitive First-Person view, and our new Full-Time Series Fans views;
- Live measurement positions and dimensions.
- Now with our latest XYZ format, full access to filtered Sequencer data, allowing the sonar to output separate data streams for different acoustic and processing parameters: one sensor, multiple simultaneous applications.
