Hydrographic Surveyor

Qualification: Essential Hydrographic Surveyor or other Marine /Environmental Qualifications (Marine Based)

We are seeking a Hydrographic Surveyor for the role of Business Solutions Advisor based in our Edinburgh Office in Scotland, United Kingdom, where all your skills will be used to support sales team in presenting our unique patented technology to project survey team, planning projects (focus on integration with third party equipment), training customers and providing support.

 This role involves extensive travel within and outside of UK.

 This is an exciting role and provides experience of our cutting edge real time 3D sonar products and feature rich software package.

 Requirements

We are for this role looking for a qualified hydrographic surveyor or someone with marine / environmental qualifications or with qualifications in offshore engineering or the like. It is essential that the successful candidate has some experience in a customer facing engineering position. Furthermore, we are looking for someone who is reasonably fit and energetic, enthusiastic, likes challenges generally and is flexible and has the necessary offshore certificates.

Qualifications

• A good educational background with an engineering emphasis to degree level
• Qualified as a hydrographic surveyor or electrical or electronic engineer
• Good language skills, English is essential and Spanish an advantage
• Off shore working experience

Travel is an essential part of this role and may involve up to 50% of your time.  

 Salary will be competitive and dependent on experience.
