Built on F180® technology, the CodaOctopus® F175 extends the capabilities of a client’s existing survey grade GNSS positioning system by outputting accurate heave, attitude, heading and position. By coupling together the GNSS output to the inertial engine within the F175, greater accuracy of motion reference data is achieved compared to separate, standalone, systems.
The F180® range is a series of precision sensors for accurate determination of a vessel’s heading, position and attitude. For use in all sea states, the F180® range is easily deployed for any multibeam survey or positioning application.
An extension of the F180® range, the F180R series positions the IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) beside the multibeam sonar’s transducer head. As a means to accurately determine the motion data at the point of transmission, the F180R series offers precision outputs for all types of multibeam survey work.
The Pre-calibrated housing is an option for the F180® MOTION Sensor. It houses the inertial sensors and twin antennas at predefined offsets. This time-saving option enables the system to be calibrated prior to installation and therefore saves time on deployment.
