Technician – Electro-Mechanical/Electronic
Coda Octopus Products Limited, based at South Gyle, Edinburgh, has a requirement for an electro-mechanical/electronic technician with manufacturing experience, to join its multi-disciplined production team.
Working on a range of products for high profile customers in the Commercial Survey, Subsea and Defense industries, our technicians need to be knowledgeable with good technical aptitude, motivated, adaptable and work well in a collaborative environment.
Successful applicants will have appropriate training and qualifications plus more than 3 years’ experience in an electro-mechanical or electronic manufacturing or service/repair environment.
Key Requirements
Candidates should have experience in some or all of the following:
- Electro-mechanical assembly
- Looming, wiring & crimping
- Soldering and PCB assembly
- Mechanical fitting
- System testing
- Fault diagnosis
- Service and repair
- General PC skills
In addition to a demonstrable practical aptitude, enthusiasm, teamwork and an ability to learn are of equal importance. It will be an advantage if you have worked in similar environments previously.
