New Business Sales Manager
We are a medium sized company with offices in Europe, USA and Australia with a worldwide sales and distribution network. We operate in the global offshore equipment supply market and sell high-end equipment which is patented and unique.
Our Edinburgh office is currently seeking a candidate to fulfil the role of New Business Sales Manager.
The successful candidate must have relevant industry experience (oil and gas, marine or subsea construction, marine survey sectors, ports and/or defense) and must be able to demonstrate a track record of finding market opportunities and taking these through the validation phase to successful completion. Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience of forming sales strategy plans and executing these within a sales team environment.
Educated to Degree level (our strong preference is for engineering or hydrographic surveyor background) with at least three years of professional sales experience with at least 2 of those in subsea products sale.
Fluency in Chinese will be very advantageous.
The ideal candidate is
- a self-starter who will be able to reach into his/her own subsea contact data base to create new opportunities for the business
- dynamic individual capable of networking at all levels; and
- able to do good research and market intelligence gathering ability with very good communication skills.
We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
