The compact digital solution for simultaneous sidescan sonar and/or sub-bottom profiler. Geophysical data acquisition and processing is uncomplicated with the Octopus 760, which incorporates a 15-inch, high-resolution display, a simple key-driven user interface and an optional built-in UPS to protect data from power failure. Internal recording (CODA, SEGY, XTF, GeoPro formats) is to hard disk and DVD-RAM disks and all standard analogue and digital printers are supported.
This rugged instrument can be rack-mounted or free-standing, so it is suitable for use on most vessels. It is compatible with all standard sidescan sonars, sub-bottom profilers, pingers, boomers, sparkers and chirp as well as all popular post processing systems. The 760series offers a range of configurations including sidescan only, sub-bottom profiler only, user selectable sidescan or sub-bottom and simultaneous sidescan and sub-bottom.
